ABOUT Pazara
This place begins its existence as a bazaar 26 years ago. It all started with the green building you see below the local food and textile trade ignited for Blagoevgrad. Like everything that it is not private but given with rent by the government, all the local farmers.
“The green building was first built by the government for apartments, but for some legal inconvenients they couldn’t finish them.” said one of the farmers. " When they raised the rent and most of them refused to obey. Approximately 10 years ago all of them decided to take their stands by the river next to an abundant parking lot in order to be closer to the main street and AUBG campus.
At the beginning everyone went to the street and you could buy textile, food or many other products. Now, you mainly find the food outside, and the textile, inside.
To this day they still pay 4,2 levs for the tables they rent from the government.
